Mark Schultz was born in Palo Alto, California, into a family of scientists and entertainers. He is half British, half Ashkenazi Jew. He works as an inspirational speaker and life coach for Keppler Speakers. His life story, ghost written by Dave Thomas, inspired the major motion picture “Foxcatcher” starring Channing Tatum as Mark. Mark and Dave Schultz are the only U.S. brothers to win World and Olympic wrestling titles. Mark won 7 National Titles (3 NCAA and 4 U.S. Open), 2 World Titles, and the 1984 Olympics. He ended his athletic career winning UFC IX under NHB rules. He was Oklahoma University Student Athlete of the year, Head Wrestling Coach at BYU, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
